The GySgt Thomas J. Sullivan Remembarance Run is a 5k run and a 2 mile walk. Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan, 40, gave his life while defending his country on Thursday July 16, 2015 during an attack on a Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was a two-time Purple Heart recipient and Iraq veteran. Proceeds benefit the GySgt Sullivan Scholarship Fund and Galaxy Council support of the Marine Corps Birthday Ball Sunday, 9th of September 2018 Registration: 8:30am Race Begins: 10:30am Cost: $25 Runners/Walkers in advance ($30.00 day of race) (Awards given to top 3 Male and Female runners) T-shirt guaranteed to all participants registered by 26 Aug 2018.
