West Brookfield Classic

June 11, 2016: 5K and 2-mile walk (9 am start)

West Brookfield Classic

Please join us for the Second Annual West Brookfield Classic on Saturday, June 11, 2016.
The annual West Brookfield Classic is a 5K road race in the heart of historic New England. The race course begins at the West Brookfield town common, charges over Foster Hill through the Quaboag Plantation, and meanders past beautiful orchards, working farms, and several colonial homes before returning to the town elementary school. Walkers can also participate in the West Brookfield Classic’s 2-mile Fitness Walk.

The race is hosted by the West Brookfield Elementary School PTG and is one of our major fundraisers of the year for both the school and the school’s Youth Running Club. In addition to giving local runners an opportunity to show off their speed, the event supports many individuals new to running, and serves as the unofficial “graduation” ceremony for WBES students grades 3-6 who participate in the school’s running program.
