First race of the 2018 SMAC Race Series !!! Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
Join SMAC for the 50th Annual Ron Hebert Road Race, the oldest continually-held road race in Western Massachusetts! This will be a celebration of the Valley’s running heritage, with Ron Hebert personally handing out vintage running medals to the first 15 male and female runners. Join us for food and conversation after the race. As is traditional with the Ron Hebert Race, all finishers will receive a pair of highly-coveted SMAC socks! This 8 mile race starts at 10:00 a.m. on April 8, but come early to warm up and socialize.
The Ron Hebert Road Race offers a challenging 8-mile route through scenic Florence and Haydenville, MA.
Start and finish at the John F. Kennedy Middle School, 100 Bridge Rd, Florence.
PRIZES for all Age Group winners – Running socks for all finishers. (Age Group Divisions: Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 +)
Entry fee: $20 before April 2, 2018. $25 on April 3, 2018, through race day. RACE DAY registration IS available, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
