39th Annual Jones Group Realtors 10 Miler

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Please be aware that due to the impending weather, the start time for the Jones 10-miler has been delayed by 2 hours. The race will start at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday February 24. We apologize for any inconvenience but must take into account the safety of those traveling from afar and all of those who are running.

Please also note that because the race incurs numerous fixed costs ahead of time we are unable to grant refunds to people who pre-registered and decide not to run at the later time, as noted in the waiver on the registration form.

We look forward to seeing you at 1:00 at the starting line ready to tackle the [snowy] hills of Amherst.

Looking for a Boston Marathon trainer ? Want a fun and interesting run through country roads ? Want to test yourself on a few good hills ? Then this is your race!!  The Jones 10-Miler is a challenging race along scenic, hilly rural roads (some dirt).  But this year it won’t just be the hill at mile 3 that feels steep -the competition will be also. This year once again and by popular demand, the race is a USATF-NE Grand Prix race – the first of the 2013 season!   We anticipate another USATF Championshipexciting showdown among teams from across New England, and we also offer cash awards for individual runners, including awards for first place male and female, age group awards, and awards  to the male and/or female who can set a new course record (current course records are held by Bob Hodge at 48:57 and Nancy Conz at 57:05).  In recognition of the talent right here in the Valley, cash awards will also be awarded to the fastest male and female local runners.
